Can you tell us something about yourself and your passions?
I am someone who lives to create. Whether it is through visual art, photography or sculpture - I use my work as a language to express feelings, stories and connection. My passion lies in making the invisible, the vulnerable and the powerful visible.
How did you get to where you are now in your career/life?
My path has been anything but straight. I started out as an actress, moved to photography, and eventually found my home in sculpture. Every step, every turn, brought me closer to myself. It has been a journey of falling, getting up, and returning to the essence of who I am.
What are some challenges you've faced along the way and how did you overcome them?
Doubt and loss are challenges I know well. Moments when you have to choose: do you stay in your comfort zone or do you dare to follow your heart? I have learned that creativity often arises from emptiness or pain - and that there is also enormous power in that. By continuing to create, trusting my intuition, I always found the way forward.
How do you use your platform/(work) environment/influence to make a difference?
My work invites reflection. Whether it hangs in a gallery or in someone's home - I hope it makes people look inside, feel something or even change something. I believe in vulnerability as a strength and try to make that visible in everything I do.
What achievement are you most proud of and why?
Not on a specific exhibition or recognition, but on the fact that I have stayed true to my own voice. In a world full of expectations, I have learned to choose what really suits me. That is the biggest victory for me.
How do you integrate The Insiders into your daily routine or work?
For me, The Insiders is about consciously choosing what you allow on your skin, in your hair, in your life. It is an extension of self-care and identity. I integrate that care into my own work as well - every touch, every detail matters.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I am inspired by people who dare. Who take risks, are real, fail and still continue. But also by silence, nature, music - and moments when everything stops and you feel: this is it.
What's the best advice you've ever received?
“Let go of what isn’t yours.” It reminds me that I am allowed to walk my own path, regardless of what others think. It gives me space to create without judgement.
Do you have any tips or advice for women who want to follow your path?
Dare. And stay true to yourself. You don't have to be perfect, just real. Give yourself time to grow and don't be afraid to start over. Trust your inner voice - it already knows the way.
What are your plans or goals for the future?
Keep making. Keep growing. I want to create more work that touches and connects people worldwide. And keep giving space to new forms of expression, in whatever form.
