New year, new hair, new me ! As far as we're concerned, this will be the year of healthy, shiny and beautiful hair. And that doesn't have to be a lot of effort. Because by saying goodbye to these seven bad hair habits, you'll get healthier hair than ever this year!

1. BRUSH WET HAIR
When your hair is wet, it is at its most vulnerable. If you brush it then, you increase the chance of damaging your hair. And of course you don’t want that. Instead of brushing your wet hair, it is best to make sure that your hair gets as tangle-free as possible while you are showering. While you are shampooing and conditioning your hair, you can gently remove any tangles with your fingers. Then wait until your hair is dry before you brush it & your hair will thank you for it!

2. GOING TO SLEEP WITH WET HAIR
Okay, so wet hair is extra vulnerable. You move and toss in your sleep, and those movements can damage the hair. So never go to sleep with wet hair. Instead, you can make your hair beautiful while you sleep -yes really!- with our sleeping beauty routine.

3. USING A TERRY CLOTH TOWEL TO DRY YOUR HAIR
A terry cloth towel is great for your body, but did you know that you shouldn't use it for your hair? Terry cloth consists of lots of small loops and is therefore quite rough in structure. This creates friction, which can damage your fragile, wet hair. Rubbing wildly to dry your hair is therefore a no go . In addition, terry cloth draws moisture from the hair too quickly due to its structure. This can cause your hair to dry out and become frizzy. 4. GOING OUT INTO THE SUN UNPROTECTED
